The uncut Soundtrack of Voyagers Titles.
Was one of Jerry Goldsmith's last compositions before he died i believe.
Well it was before First contact, but he died in the 90's if i remember what Jonathan Frakes said correctly.

He also did the music of Ridley Scott's Alien, his style is kinda easy to recognise.

Lux Aeterna from Clint Mansell. I like the "Requiem of a Dream" version more than the LOtR version though.

Especially the part played when Sara Goldfarb was starting to lose her shit

Jerry Goldsmith did a lot of good stuff in movie soundtrack. My favorite pieces by him:

I liked his haunting pieces like when we first see the interior and exterior of the Nostromo at the beginning, on the DVD you can listen to the isolated track.

Oh and Blade Runner is another good Movie theme (no idea who made it)
but it made alot of use of buckling sheet metal.

Such a simple theme, but it's great. Not only is it my favorite theme, but it happens to be my favorite show of all time.

The Bee Gees are much maligned, but are one of the greatest singer/songwriter thingos of all time.

I have "Nights on Broadway" going through my head thanks to a doco I just watched about them.

    EDIT:

pissed and just realised how mcych i fucked up.

I love everything Ennio Morricone ever did.

Favorite composer is probably Basil Poledouris, mostly because of his work on Conan The Barbarian.

Basically, Conan The Barbarian has the best soundtrack ever made.

Aside The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, my other favorite work by Morricone is the soundtrack of The Thing:

Speaking of Italian composers, I personally like Nino Rota:

    First of all, "Blues Brothers".

And a bit of an unusual choice:
"Repo Men" had one of the best scores I have heard in recent years, and possibly ever.
Good movies have good music... it's just the way it works. You can't have one without the other.
