Spyro the Dragon, Why are they still making this shit? Skylanders? figurines? i keep seeing kids walking around in the hifi stores holding either a set or a figurine, i hate how popular it is with Dragonaboos that eat up the shitty sappy "emotionally charged" story, just guessing here, but i mean Spyro just wouldn't work like that, it's a game that originally was just a light hearted adventure game where you play as a purple juvenile dragon and revolved around torching critters and gnorcs or spearing them with your horns (i can believe they were lethal in the Insomniac period because they were pointy and forward facing unlike the new design) and among other things just collecting gems n eggs n shit, and taught us at a young age that Arabs are bad people (they are the egg thiefs) And it worked, And above all, who is keeping these games alive? we can be relieved that after 5 years there has been no new crash bandicoot game, and probably never will be ever again. but they are still milking this. Then we had that thankfully fake movie, "from the producers of Eragon" yeah that really fills us with confidence.... So why hasen't this fucking game been fucking binned for good? if only Sony had cared more for their exclusive titles back before the new millenium and paid money to retain the rights over Universal Interactive that way they could in the future have had quality titles made by the original developers (Sony owns Insomniac and Naughty Dog and a few others) or gotten some other dev that is a subsidiary or something to do it. Then maybe the PS3 wouldn't be just trying to imitate the 360 and Wii with it's library.
