wait you beat all but one dark souls 1 boss on your first try????? damn are you even human?
You ain't hitting most shit but once anyway, might as well make it count.
Started with Prey, now.
Finished Resident Evil 7 yesterday. Wasn't bad, but really short, it took me about two days. I haven't tried any dlc, i might, later...
Oh and X-Com 1 and 2 with all the dlc's. They're really fucking the game up, but not entirely in a bad way.. it just makes em different and makes you want to try the game with and without them.
have you tried the "new" x-com games yet? The world order depends on you, bro...
well actually the thing i was mainly worried about was it taking too long to carry out the attack. the reason the centipede demon was much easier with the falchion despite having virtually the same stats was because the winged spear took too long to carry out attacks, so i had a much shorter timing window to dodge incoming attacks
i just member demon's souls when i was able to kill most of the bosses by staying far away and shooting arrows. I don't think it was a cheap move, considering that if someone told me the scenario and showed me the arena itself, I'd say I'd just hide/stand far away and shoot arrows. It's not like I was exploiting some game mechanic or some shit, I was just doing it the objectively smarter way that you'd do if you were actually in that situation and not playing a game
Nah, I beat a lot of them on try 1 though. Smough and Ornstein took 3 attempts.
yeah well you're better at games than me
Went to the arcade and they still got this machine. I'm fucking tired hahhh
Lol, thanks for reminding. I've only been tiptoeing around the new games, pontificating if I should play them or not. I know I should but for an unknown reason there's a huge threshold to actually start playing it.
This is an old screen which I might've posted already. I'm just sinking some time I've got yet again into SF3: Alpha 3 on Redream DC-emu and Morrowind of course.
I don't know why, but this sounds like one of the frogs coming out of Alex Jones' mouth.
It is like you picked a shitty weapon.
You are some kind of spell caster, I assume? What with the high intelligence to use enchanted gear effectively
Some games are also harder for some people than others. I am getting my ass handed to me by the first boss of Castlevania SOTN, so don't feel too bad.
Sounds like youre a boring bitch. A weak ass bitch. fight me HEADON you gay elf
no i'm a warrior iirc. i'll post my stats later
SFIII: Third Strike has a spicy character roster. Q-anon and Homer Simpson to name a few.
Ok so you're doin it wrong.
That makes sense.
Highest single damage output weapon in the game is +10 Enchanted GreatClub with 99Str and 99Int. If you insist on being silly, do that.
There's a reason why some games retail at $69.95, Atelier Lydie & Suelle season pass costs $120.95 AUD ($87.06 USD)
I had played it about 10 years ago, but dropped it. After replaying it, I remembered why.
It is aimed at kids, so forget everything that makes a Mana game great; the game pretty much holds your hand all the way, you only have four weapons (and they are story-locked), there is zero free exploring (the main story consists of "clear new location-return to Mana village" ad nauseam), the side quests are the same "find X at X location/clear X location" borefest, and grinding for money to buy a bigger knapsack (to hold larger item amounts) is the most miserable experience ever.
Strictly for babbi's first Mana game, and even then there's better Mana games to pop the cherry to.
I'm dreading to replay Heroes of Mana after this.
I've been trapped in a dungeon for months and I'm too weak to get out
holy shit how'd i miss that there's a new toejam and earl out in 6 weeks
it'll prob suck but daaaamn
anyway i just got hollow knight
If you have been investing in Intelligence, just buy some fucking spells. Hell, or Miracles-- go to the Gargoyle Bell Tower and buy the catalyst that works intelligence instead of faith for miracles. Velka's Talisman- though maybe you need faith to meet minimum requirements? Dunno. Anyway, get the sorcerer from lower undead berg and buy him out-- you will have a WAY easier game. Use melee IF YOU HAVE TO, but try not to.
Yeah, i get that. Everything is subjective and you really gotta be in mood for that shit.. but once you'll come around, i think you won't be disappointed, they really kept all the stuff from the old games in mind and they really expanded on that - some modern aspects also did the game some good.
Btw, those pics reminded me of old Fatal Fury games.. Long live Chang Koehan!
Left 4 dead 2
How is the new Metal Max game? The drought of notably good post-apo weeb games proves that two nukes weren't enough.
Don't remember playing any Fatal Fury games, but the sprite art is just outstanding on them. 2019 will be the year of nu-XCOM, I know this. Though I've been stuck playing arcadey stuff due to my impeccable attention span, capable of 15-30 minutes of focus before it starts drifting like a mujahid with a Scania truck.
I bought Mass Effect Andromeda off PSN for 10 bucks.
It looks like ass, but it's pretty good otherwise.
Should tie me over till the Resident Evil 2 remake and the new Devil May Cry come out.
God I remember modding the shit out of that game. Tanks looked loke the Koolaid man and Witches sounded like Hitler. And best of all, Beavis Jockeys.
Which boss in SOTN? The flying guy and his nosey friend?
Pretty good, only downside so far is that it isn't dubbed in English, although I've gone back to playing the first game from the Famicom and will complete that before going back to Metal Max Xeno. I do need to search for an NTSC-U PS2 so I can play Metal Saga.
Give us some pics
Yeah, Slogra, and his butt buddy Gaibon. I ended up taking care of it. I beat the second boss on the first try after accidentally going past the save point right before it. I am at the point where I have to grind monies to get a decent weapon from the Librarian.
The reach sucks, but get the jeweled knuckles if you haven't. The area is hidden, near the bottom of the great wall, right past the blue knight.
You gotta bust a wall then wait in the hole until a secret elevator takes you down (in traditional Castlevania fashion).
They do a lot of damage and can carry you through most of the game.
Protip: EB Games Australia engages in a practice where they sometimes import brand new games from overseas, slap over Australian classification stickers and sell them as 'preowned'.
They've been doing this for nearly a decade and first came to light when they were caught importing Ice White 3DS consoles (which colour was never sold in Australia) from Europe, bundling in 3rd party Australian AC adapters and selling them as 'preowned'.
Akiba's Beat never saw a physical release in Australia unlike the first game, Akiba's Trip,
