it's good to set yourself stretch goals
Got it now that it's 50% off on steam. I really like it so far.
Haven't played it much yet since my shit laptop doesn't run it well and I don't want to hoard my partner's computer for too long.
I have to finish Fallout 4 one of these days, I don't even remember the story anymore. Every time I go back to it I keep doing only random stuff.
Tried Pop'n Music 9 on pcsx2 with a keyboard a month ago and got hooked. Then ripped keys out of a keyboard, soldered a bit and glued plastic parts from curtain rods on the keys. Been playing the series almost in order (8-14), but the learning curve has gotten really steep. Though I love how tracks might seem impossible, then a bit later it's manageable and finally a piece of cake.
Thinking of making a controller completely out of metal, so I can mash and pummel the buttons harder and maybe get as good as this guy.
I'm currently giving Dark Souls a shot. It's kicking my ass but I can't stop playing for some reason. It's just too satisfying to actually kill things and not die.
The Soulsborne series is wonderful. I just finished Dark Souls 3 and it was really fun, lots more build options than Bloodborne. On the other hand Bloodborne's really pretty and nicely self-contained game/lore-wise, so I'm torn choosing a favorite between them.
Bloodborne beats out DS3 with its orchestral OST over the latter's disappointing computer-generated soundtrack.
Speaking of Souls games, the Nioh Beta is out for PS4 and its pretty good. Give it a try.
How did I not know about this? I wish I had a PS4 now.
Yeah I can't wait to beat DS1 and go onto 2. I just beat Orstein and Smough and have a strong adrenaline rush going on rn. I don't have a PS4 so I'll have to miss out on Bloodborne unless they port it to PC.
I'd advise you get all the expansions for DSII. They are the best part of the game.
They tried to stump it. They failed.
I'm playing a couple of things, nothing truly spectacular. I just finished the excellent AM2R, I'm playing around with The Last Station (not sure what I think of it tbh) Guacamelee! and Shadowrun Dragonfall.
Oh yeah, and I'm going through Torchlight 2. Love that game. My craptop can even run it at 60fps, a rare occurrence.
Funny, that, I just started a playthrough this morning after buying the game for like a fiver.
It's okay but it's grindy as fuck.
Started playing Rise of the Tomb Raider for the 360 a few days ago. It's way better than I expected gameplay wise.
Yea, it is, and the story is pretty thin.
Well, it *was* originally made for the NES in the 80's. Square were notorious for making a fuckton of remakes for the DS and Android, remakes that were pretty but ultimately shallow.
Shin Megami Tensei:Strange Journey.
Basically, Shin Megami Tensei: DOOM, but with no RIP AND TEAR
Metal Gear Solid 5: The Shaky Cam: Tactical Lens Flare Operations
Pretty solid gameplay but every time there's a cutscene it feels like watching Jason Bourne as directed by Michael bay after binge watching anime.
Bought Starbound. Already like it much better than Terraria.
Been playing these two the last couple of days, first is a platformer and 2nd is a contra style shoot em up. I'm working on making that new "Contra Rebirth" for the wii run on my emulator.
@LaserRaptor HOLY SHIT another dinosaur! go introduce yourself scrub found it. Meh...
Scary accurate, TBH.
Supposed to be a throwback to classic jrpg, turns out to be a super polished Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.
I'm enjoying the fuck out of some MGSV right now. Played all the Dark Souls games to hell but 1, I might go back to it soon. Don't have any money anymore, so I can't get the expansions when the come out for 3
Playing through the mass effect trilogy now. It's fun to look back at how the series has degraded in terms of writing, from the autistic yet earnest sci-fi goonery of ME1 to the hilariously bad, fanfiction tier shipping fest of ME3. I can't wait till Andromeda let's us pair our genderfluid transvoyager with a polyamorous, six dicked reptoid in glorious 4k resolution. After purchasing the requisite on-disk DLC.
EDF 4.1 Shadow of a New Despair
Is Ghost any good? It looked ok from a distance.
If you liked Unepic i guess it is ok...
err... never played that either.
Anyway, back on topic: Did you ever play the other Jazz games?
