Mushroom ravioli and fire roasted veggies with balsamic butter sauce. Pseudo-fancy Trader Joe's stuff, surprisingly good.
Nigga is that a bagged meal you heated up
Be real with me because I need to know if I can buy that shit okay
Are there Trader Joe's in Texas? If so, yes you can!
The ravioli is packaged as (I believe) mushroom ravioli with mushroom truffle sauce, and the veggies are packaged as fire roasted veggies with balsamic butter sauce. They're both bagged and usually in the fridge/freezer section.
Also, make sure to follow the directions for the ravioli. I added a bit too much water because I thought that the amount of water the package called for wasn't going to be enough, but then I ended up with a very watery sauce. But if watery sauce is your thing, then go for it.
Ninja edit: they both only need like 5 minutes max on the stove, so it's almost a microwave meal.
You cheating cunt.
This is "how did you make it", not "how do I set the microwave to reheat this packaged shit".
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I am a lazy bitch. If I can heat something for five minutes and have it look and taste slightly better then McDonald's, I am happy with my 'cooking' skills.
It's OK, just make sure your gf/wife can cook and you'll be fine.
If you pay the bills, I'll happily be your wife:
I'm a pro level cook- I under pay neighborhood kids to do my yard and house clean now, so like mad home management skills- I never get headaches and love to scissor- I look fantastic in an apron- but mostly big hairy balls, honestly it's a hard to find quality in a wife
I dunno Sol, aprons have never really been a turn-on of mine, I think I'll have to decline.
It's always the apron
Throw on some pearls n a pair of kitten heels, dress that mess up.
There are now, and I have been tentatively frequenting one near me.
It's strange to buy meat that is not cut directly in front of you from a live animal, but I'm getting used to it.
If this is an open offer, then I would like to throw my hat in the ring.
I will work tirelessly to make sure you are pampered like a lower middle class princess.
Put on an apron and nothing else while you're cooking actually
Just don't put your back to the stove if you're making bacon
Made burrito from scratch, with homemade salsa:
I just ate pizza and I made it with my cellphone.
Did it taste like 4g?
I bet it tasted like LTE and victory
Food was dank.. bitch never shut up.
Overall evening.... 6/10
It's that time of the year when many of us have to deal with people IRL, for the sake of keeping their mouths too full to speak and the in the spirit of the season, I give you:
Sourdough Pancetta Loaf
1 1⁄2 cups sourdough starter
1 tablespoon clarified unsalted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 cups flour (plus a little more or less to adjust consistency)
Mix starter, 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and flour together in a mixing bowl until it blends and forms a ball (add more or less flour to adjust consistency; if you get it too dry just add a little more starter).
Allow dough to rest for about 30 minutes to autolyze (makes the dough easier to work with)
Tl/db: buy pre-made pizza dough, it's less tasty but is less of an investment
Making it bread:
8-10 thin slices of meat, I’m using pancetta because it’s what I had but this is bang’n with pepperoni or salami
1/4 cup tomato sauce, I just blend 1 tomato with a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of honey
freshly grated cheese, I’m using a blend of Parmigiano-Reggiano, fontina, and asiago
Whatever herbs and spices you’re into, I’m using 1 tbsp of rosemary, 1/2tbsp each of smoked paprika, oregano, and parsley
preheat oven to 400°f
place your dough on the working surface and work it into a roughly 1/4 inch rectangle
Cover that bitch in the tomato sauce, leaving an inch on either side and 2 inches on the bottom clean
Next meat it up
then the cheese
roll it up and place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, cover with a dry towel and let sit for .30-1 hour
Cover with the butter
Use a razor and cut some lines
cover in cheese
Bake at 400°f for 30-45 min then sprinkle more cheese
Let it cool completely before cutting
They are good just straight up but also with a little fry in olive oil make great croutons or split in half to make a bad ass Italian sub
Is that the sourdough starter you mentioned a while back?
