Are you really asking me that question? The Police are a musical powerhouse. One of my old school teachers used to date Sting.
    From Punk

    To "reggae rock"

    To whatever these are:

I would consider them a punk band overall. That tint of it anyway. Much like The Clash in later years. Punk is just as much an attitude than a music style.

Myself, been listening to the ever wonderful John Cipollina, one of the finest guitar players of the 60s.

Rekindled my interest in cheesy traditional metal, time to spend a year or two listening to nothing else.

Hell yeah, Flotsam and Jetsam with Newsted on bass!

Love all the nice details in their riffing and they never had to resort to prog metal wankery.
Their first two albums are better than anything Metallica has done.

Didn't like the original song but this remix is pretty okay.

if i hear again i definitely will. had my t.v. off, no appliances going, and all my windows were shut at that particular time. the sound was like people shouting and music blaring yet like in a mumbled(for a lack of a better word or way of putting it)jumbled way...and it wasn't my neighbours either. Went on for about 5 minutes or so...couldn't pin point where it was coming from
