I've been putting this idea off for quite some time, and I'm still not sure whether I'd go through with it. As the name suggests, it will be an RPG based around Chris-Chan and his various acts of retardation over the years. Although it would be (I hope) lulzy, it would play like a normal game and would take some skill to complete.

I am not very good at programming, so I am doing this almost entirely within an RPG maker. I have, though, made images like the title screen, backgrounds during fights, and am working on gifs of enemies. I've composed some music for it, and will eventually run a MIDI of it through an 8-bit converter.

But, before I start designing anything within the game (maps, items, mechanics, etc.) I'd like an honest opinion from you guys. Is this a good idea, or am I wasting my time?

    You're probably right.
Although I would definitely put some effort (and might actually finish it) if enough people support it. I'm gonna be on vacation in a couple weeks, so I'd have plenty of time to waste.

Sounds good. But prepare for Chris-Chan to BAAWWW about it if he doesn't go to prison or get institutionalized.

Also, I really think it'll take you more than a fortnight. It takes most people at least months to make a decent game. Regardless of length.

    Indeed, do it.

But instead, do it in reverse. Instead of leveling up, he levels down. So instead of his stats (Intelligence, Hygiene, etc.) going up, they decline. He goes from an upstanding citizen to the degenerate we all love to hate.

Of course. That's partly the reason I'm doing this:p

Interesting idea, but I think it would get progressively boring if he leveled down. What I'm planning on doing with levels, is that Chris' "level" is actually his E-Fame. So the farther you progress in the game, the more you get drawn into the internet and out of real life. In fact, the latter half of the game will take place 'inside' the Internet.

Absolutely. I'll be posting updates on it's progress over the weeks, but it will most likely take months as you said. I hope to have a playable demo of the first boss battle (Micheal Snyder) by the end of my vacation.
