But on the sciencey bit, what about the biological arena of growing back limbs like when you cut the tails off those little lizards? Won't there be a huge medical market competition in the next 30 years for patients choosing between regenrative organic limbs vs. cyborg metal crushability ubermensch but fuel-battery dependent monster parts? And how far has the aformentioned science progressed? Esp. in Japan? Then after base medical costs how would insurances handle this? Would the most likely to be minority cyborg people have to form their own sports leagues in some sort of sci-fi civil rights struggles? Would we have to revise and create new areas of law on injury and deaths caused by these metallic swingers? Would they even be allowed to work in jobs involved with children? Would a reverse sort of hiring trend in first sector jobs like construction and mining go reverse discrimination and at least always a minimum of 90% of the whole crew are cyborg people?
