    ladyofelche.

When this intricate and bizarre bust was discovered, experts pronounced it a modern fake. Later they had to recant because other similar works were found. This one is called the lady of Elche, and it was made by a Phoenician artist.

Can't find a pic, but I used to see spanish heads with a lone stunted dreadlock at the back or side of their head, never understood it.

iker casillas is a fucking god amongst goalkeepers. though frankly, the spanish team were at best lackluster at the euro 2012, casillas made some right saves though

true , casillas is a great goalkeeper but he almost didnt sweat in the whole eurocup lol ,because Spain got a dream team ,clearly with using the fc Barcelona as the base of the national team and almost playing with not forwards at all, focused on the control of the midfield,it really worked well so far and the trophies these last 5 years are the proof of this hegemony.

ooh I don't know about him not sweating, he certainly showed why his nickname is "the saint" in a few matches- the croatia one springs to mind, they really weren't at their best there. I think they've lost some of their spark in recent years, I mean, previously the short passing game was just a lead up to a crushing attacking manoeuvre but now it's just pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass-pass etcetera etcetera, I hold the croatia game up as an example again, it took them almost the entire match to get around to scoring and that was a lucky break. However they did shine against italy so credit where credit is due. overall I think the italians were more fun to watch but spain are a more technically accomplished side. it'll be interesting how they do in the olympic footie.

I'm just saying casillas didn't get a lot of hard work on this cup, he just got 1 goal I think,it's true what you said than their tactics lost some spark with the time but is maybe because everyone studied them, looking a way of neutralize their game, and even somehow they coudnt be stopped, maybe the only game I saw Spain on trouble it was with Portugal, winning on penalties they dodged the bullet, and with Italy it worked again their midfield control that even balloteli couldn't grab a single pass, the Olympics is another story, My favorite is brazil...their obsession with the gold is nuts but still their hopes are high, we will see.
