Much like OP, this thread died cold and alone.

I will start by sharing the recipe for lasagna that I got from @Ronny loo, those many moons ago.

The ragout (ragù) gotta be made up half beef (250gr) and half swine (250gr), bacon (100gr), butter (50gr)
one onion, one carrot, celery, a glass of milk, a glass of wine (red) extra virgin olive oil (4 spoons) salt and pepper.

Chop the carrot, the celery and the onion then brown 'em with butter and extra virgin oliv oil.
After some minutes finely chop the bacon and add it together with the ground meat in the pan and brown all that shit.

Now add the tomato sauce (250ml), the broth (250ml but don't add it all together), salt and pepper and let cook for at least 2 hours
mixing from time to time; finally add a glass of milk.

Spread the butter on the bottom of a roasting pan, add some spoons of ragù and then add a layer of pasta. Cover it with bechamel,

then the ragù and finally shred cheese (Grana Padano). Repeat the process and cover the result with some ragù and bechamel mixed in

a pan and large shred cheese.

Bake for 50-60 minutes at 160C° controlling it from time to time. Enjoy the best dish in the world!

    West Coast Gumbo

2/3 cup Canola Oil (don't use Olive Oil you pretentious fuck, it is not meant to be cooked)
    2/3 cup Flour
    2lb Fish or other Seafood
    1 Lemon

    1 cup Wild Rice

    1 can Peas
    1 can Whole Kernel Corn
    1 can Chopped Olives
    1 can Black Beans
    2 cups Chopped Okra
    2 cups Chopped Sweet Potato
    1 Red Pepper, chopped
    1 Green Pepper, chopped
    2 packages Ramen Noodle, crushed
    1/2 cup Water Chestnuts, chopped
    1 Red Onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp Oregano
    3 Tbsp Basil
    1 clove Fresh Garlic, chopped
    1 Tbsp Fennel Seed
    1 Tbsp Crushed Bay Leaf
2 cups Water or Chicken/Beef broth

16 oz Whiskey(this is so you can get drunk during the cooking process, so you can throw pots and pans around the kitchen in grand creole tradition. Creoles would use wine for this, but fuck dem frencies)

    Drink some whiskey.
Prepare the fish by frying it in a pan with the Oil and Flour (purists will tell you to prepare the roux alone, but tell those bog sucking frenchies to eat dick). Use a medium/low heat, so as not to overcook it. Squeeze the lemon over the fish whilst cooking.

    Drink some whiskey.
Prepare the rice as directed on the package (~1/3 rice/water ratio).

    Drink some whiskey.
Throw all the the rest into a big stew pot and bring to a slow boil, then cover and simmer over low heat for ~1 hour, or until potatoes/noodles are soft.

    Drink some whiskey.
Take off heat and add Seafood and Rice. Cover and let sit for another hour or so to mix flavors. Generally, the longer the flavors mix, the better it will taste in the end.

    Finish your Whiskey, pussy.
Season to personal taste with Hot Sauce, Salt/Pepper, Olive Oil and Paprika. Enjoy.

Do all you people just chomp Totino's 365 or what?

    Rice Balls

2 cups Short Grain Sushi or Dongbei Rice
    2 1/2 cups Water
    3Tbsp Rice Wine
1/2 Chopped Onions (sweet or green onions are best)
    1/2 Wasabi Peas
    1 cup Cooked Ground Beef
    Enough Seaweed Leaf
(some people also add a bit of salt and sugar to the mix)

Boil the Water, then add Rice, Rice Wine, and Salt/Sugar. Lower heat, cover and leave to simmer for about a half hour (do not overcook rice), or until Water is evaporated and Rice is soft.

Add Onions, Peas, and Ground Beef.

Shape into balls, wrap in seaweed leaves, and let sit until cool.

Store inside your kataginu for a delicious after murder snack.
