Quick question for Staff.

What are the articles that are the most frequently butthurt edited? I've caught a lot of furfaggot edits on the furry article.

 

Furry and deviantart articles for the most part.

Also articles on autistics, but they usually overlap into furry and DA so it kinda goes without saying.

 

You ever think about just locking those articles? Most of the edits are just butthurt ones anyways.

 

Yeah but they still need to be updated every so often. We can protect articles so that only people whose accounts are x days old and/or have made x amount of edits can edit them.

 

And what articles do you have that system on?

 

It's called semi-protection. Users go into a user group called auto-confirmed after they meet the account age/edit count requirements. You cannot edit semi-protected pages until your account is auto-confirmed. There are a lot of pages that use semi-protection, any user in the sysop or editor user groups can protect and semi-protect articles.

 

If that's true than it's really easy to get auto-confirmed.

 

You have to make 30 edits or wait for your account to be 5 days old. Most people don't have the patience for that kind of shit just to vandalize a wiki page.

Well yes, but it still filters out most of the butthurt.
