I think you're already trolling anyway, just for that I'm gonna read all your post with his voice.
Hm. I'm really more like Beckett in terms of tone and manner, actually.
bullshit you're Sebastian LaCroix just use it as your new avatar and you will see, anyway I don't know why you hate the idea of a MG remake
If you want to use the proper voice then you've got to use Beckett's. It's the only way. Also, I don't hate the idea of a Metal Gear remake. That's retarded. You're retarded.
then there is nothing to discuss here if there is a MGS5 it should be during the Outer Heaven Uprising - Zanzibar land Incident timeline
We're not discussing what should happen but what will happen.
but we are except you are ignoring my posts and saying I agree with you and stuff... but here we go again, Phantom Pain is a trailer created to promote Ground Zeroes related content however there will be a Metal gear 5 and Kojima already hinted the possibility of Solid Snake again in the game but the Solid storyline is over with the death of Zero, Big Boss and destruction of the Patriots, where else they can go? the answer is what I've been telling you all this time
No more bets, no more bets!
you are proud and stubborn I wouldn't expect anything less from a member of the Ventrue clan
I very much doubt the Ventrue clan would convert a lowlife like me. If I had a choice then I'd pick the Malkavians, simply because they have profound insight in... OMG, Aleister Grout. I sound most like Aleister Grout. For real.
Our personalities are quite similar, too.
I thought Malkavians were for people like @beefrave and most of EDF2 = Brujah clan
I desire wisdom, insight and knowledge above all else, including sanity and articulation. Therefore I pick Malkavian. Others might pick something else based on their own goals and personalities in mind. I think you'll find that this forum would be as diverse as the World of Darkness itself.
What would you pick, given the choice?
@The Member Formerly Known As Baya Rae 4900
It probably has something to do with fondling male genitalia.
Joakim Mogen live stream interview talking about Phantom Pain
@The Member Formerly Known As Baya Rae 4900
so Metal Gear Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain are the same game and theyre getting released on current generation of consoles, also David Hayter says hes not voicing Snake anymore, which is very suspicious and it could include a surprise appearance of Solid Snake in some part in the game.
@Weezus Christ @The Member Formerly Known As Baya Rae 4900 @scumhook
If that trailer shows the story in order
Big Boss and Miller try fighting Freddy Krueger and his army of goons
get their shit fucked
end up in a hospital
and Big Boss becomes a Biker.
Also Psycho Mantis is a girl now.
also just check the David Hayter's twitter its kinda like yep I'm not in it and that's it, I mean its really suspicious something is going on there
Kiefer Sutherland Replacing David Hayter As The Voice Of Metal Gear Solid's Snake
I understand that video game makers are excited that actual celebrities from movies and film are excited to work in the genre these days, but it does seem odd to outright replace someone who has literally been your main character in your flagship series for the last 15 years. That’s what’s happening with MetalGear Solid 5, as the longtime voice of Snake/Big Boss, David Hayter, has now lost his job to Jack Bauer himself, Kiefer Sutherland. In a recorded video message, series creator Hideo Kojima explained the switch:“This time, with Metal Gear Solid 5, the themes are a little different from previous games in the series. We’re taking on some very heavy subjects such as race and revenge. I wanted Snake to have a more subdued performance, expressed through subtle facial movements and tone of voice rather than words.”Hideo Kojima Announces 'Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain' [Updated]Erik KainContributor
In other words, he wanted an “actor” not just one those “voice actors.” And someone more familiar with revenge, apparently?“Furthermore,” Kojima said, “the game takes place in 1984, when Snake is 49 years old. Therefore, we needed someone who could genuinely convey the facial and vocal qualities of a man in his late 40′s.”Sorry Hayter, being 44 doesn’t qualify to you play a convincing character in his late 40s. But Sutherland, three years older than Hayter, apparently fits the criteria better. All of this is nothing against Sutherland, whose portrayal of Jack Bauer was iconic, and will forever be known as one of TV’s biggest badasses. But it is a strange move, and Kojima’s explanation isn’t really an explanation at all. If I had to guess, judging by Kojima’s non-answer and Hayter’s understandable grumpiness on Twitter (“The game will probably still be excellent! Like New Coke!”), there’s probably more happening behind the scenes than we know. It’s sad to see Hayter go, as he’s been the voice of Snake across 13 different titles, big and small, since 1998. Kiefer has some big shoes to fill. ok I'm calling it right now David Hayter will be as SOLID Snake I mean is not rocket science
hayter didnt voice solidus snake.
solidus was an aged version of the same dude.
i dunno. its a metal gear game, they arent exactly logical.
Richard Doyle was aged Big Boss on MGS4, David Hayter is the voice actor of Solid and Big Boss since the beginning. My guess is that Phantom Pain is going to end near the Outer Heaven Uprisal events but yeah with Kojima who knows
yeah i dont see hayter not being snake as a huge deal.
to be fair hayter has an extremely limited range of expression and tonality.
yeah not a game changer if I care is because Im pretty sure Solid is gonna make an apparition at least in the epilogue of phantom pain, I wanna see what happens
to be very honest, while i love metal gear, the only game i thought was truly great was sons of liberty.
most of them were good but the stories and long winded monologues didnt do much for me.
my boner for the game wont diminish due to a voice actor's absence.
I loved the first 3, MGS4 was an exaggeration of all of what you say, I liked it in the first one because it was something new that I haven't seen before Im talking about a bunch of spoken dialogues and stuff I remember calling Master Miller after every significant and insignificant event just for the sake of it but yeah on MGS4 was fucking annoying and unnecessary.
...you can't be serious.
yeah mgs4 felt like a WAY TOO LONG movie that they tried to shoe horn a few short levels into.
the characters were shit, it sucked. enough said. its been a while since i played it though, but
i dont remember anything remotely memorable aside for raiden.
i was very skeptical about metal gear rising but its actually very enjoyable.
i dont like that they are taking metal gear so far into the future that its ALL cyborg ninjas and giant robots,
but if they keep playing with the time line i dont see it as a bad thing.
