The Exorcist. Maybe it was actually scary in 1973, but I watch it and I find it more funny than anything, especially when that aids infected loli is encouraging everyone to fuck her well-abused cunt, and pissing on the floor, not to mention her 1337 spiderman walk
Stop breathing air.
I live in Melbourne, I wouldn't necessarily call this air
Anyone who dislikes The Exorcist has terrible taste in movies.
It's shit, and I don't deny that I have bad taste in movies.....until I watched the fuck out of them, I thought the old adam sandler movies were hilarious
The reason the film had her do all of those things was because it wanted to show you how the demon's existence is solely based on destroying innocence.. and that's much more disturbing than just killing someone.
Innocence is a virtue, and our society's obsession with sex as entertainment is ruining it. Fuck the liberals and their corruption of the senses!
You only think its a good movie because it's a 'classic' and it's been brainwashed into you that its one of the best horrors of all time. I've seen the list of best horrors, and they always put it in the top 5, and they never really have a reason other than its a classic.
Imo, if you can bear to read subs, as I'm used to doing, asian horrors are rather excellent, though I admit they have a far higher amount of ridiculously shit ones too.
The reasons are that it is genuinely terrifying, it has a good story, it is believable and it is intelligent. It's hard to get all four of those qualities in one film.
Genuinely terrifying? I hope you're not being serious
They used Drew Barrymore as a title character so they could kill her off in the first scene. That's it, that's their gimmick and it requires a prior PR campaign to set that bullshit up.
When I first tried watching Scream, i was probably about 5, i had to turn it off because i was scared
It manages not only to show you some very creepy imagery, but also presents you with a very realistic and gripping story.
It has more truth behind it than any science fiction film in the last decade.
That isn't saying much
All of them. Why haven't they made a Clock Tower movie yet? YOU HAD ONE JOB, HORROR MOVIE PRODUCERS.
That would be stories that are able to get you to become attached to a character within 10 min to make you emotionally attached, in addition to the voyeur aspect of the 4th wall, really has your expectations against what is to happen. Bonus points if you are able to tap into the audience's perception of justice, normative & natural.
What is Clock Tower?
It's one of the greatest VG horror series ever created. The main antagonist is a slasher monster known as Scissorman but the series has branched out significantly since the second game. Unlike complex horror series, like Silent Hill or Resident Evil, the Clock Tower series is practically impossible to fuck up, assuming the producers take everything from the games and not just slap the name Clock Tower on an inferior slasher series, which is all of them.
Intriguing. Does this "Scissorman" involve castration?
Probably. Scissorman has certainly skinned his far share of people. You should play the first Clock Tower game for the PSX. If for no other reason than to get chills every time you hear this:
Hellraiser is the only 'horror' film worthy of the name. Every other one I have seen (including The Exorcist) is not scary.
I agree that Hellraiser is one of the only scary horror films out there, but have you ever seen Suspiria, Scanners or Three Extremes?
Pretty sure I saw Scanners, but I don't really remember anything about it other than the head asplode .gif that was really popular a couple years back.
It's not the same.
Every single one of the Paranormal Activity movies.
The only time I felt even the slightest twitch was at the end of the third one where the guy opens the door and all the old whores are standing there, that was a little creepy
That wasn't even the best part of the movie.
You're right...The Burning is much better than some shitty survival horror game.
Will you ever stop liking the cock?
