@uberfukken Is this the blue wave you were talking about?

Ohio has always been goofy. So has Pennsyltucky.

Strong unions have perverted the voting base so the turn out for progressive/lobs has always been excessively strong. (not to mention the numerous times dead people, pets, and imaginary people have filled the rosters for Dems) However those same people are mostly Christian, socially conservative and pro 2nd amendment. The voters there are all about one thing jobs. If a candidate says something about good paying blue collar jobs like, oh I dunno Trump and starts pressing to open up steel mills, like he did, it doesn't matter, they'll vote that candidate.

So to use this election as some sort of bellwether for the upcoming midterms is an overreach.

Lastly, I don't know what you are so happy about, lets say the blue wave is real. The blue waveis powered entirely by the lying liberal media. The CNN effect on steroids. That's not a democracy. But, let's not kid ourselves, you're not for a democracy.

    Wrong

The Republican leads by only 1754 votes

There are still 8843 absentee and provisional votes to be counted

Laughing at ride-or-die republicans for losing a senate seat in Alabama is just as valid as laughing at republicans for almost losing a house seat in rural ohio.

Except I'm not the one who brought it up, you were. You're a glutton for punishment I guess.

I don't much care personally who wins in Ohio, but it would be great if the dems won by a dozen or so votes, just to see @Groyper Supreme struggle with an achy anus.

the only time an independent wins is when they're running as a local hero. ie angus king or bernie sanders. nobody else stands a chance.

A study showed they were more likely to be neither republican or democrat

The partisanship has turned a lot of them off both parties

You're absolutely right. They are starting to vote libertarian and green

Which means their preferred candidate does not get elected, because the majority recognise that those two parties are ridiculously flawed and will lead to the destruction of the country

Republican are the majority early/absentee voters. So good luck with that.

The simple facts you are not aware of OH politics:
    1. The left constantly buses in outside voters to the polls.
    2. OH politics have seen numerous times where the dead, people's pets and people who have moved voting in OH elections, not to mention peoples's signatures found on petitions which they never signed and all the signatures have the same handwriting.
    3. This is a special election. This is were the Progressives can concentrate their efforts. The voter turn out was magically 80% higher for the Dems.
    4. The Uberfukkens (TM)'s are now blaming a lunatic which got 12000 votes as the reason why the election didn't go to an automatic recount. They would have still would have had less votes.
    5. You are all missing the bigger picture. The media is on butthurt duty for the dems again

One would think so. But, now seemingly the media have discovered their true power. The power to sway political thought and speech. All too often the media only presents one side of the argument in order to push legislation. See CNN effect.

For example, "gun violence." Over half of all "gun deaths are suicides." The overwhelming rest of the remaining are gang/drug related. Not to say these persons shouldn't be shot, but suicidal people who choose a firearm are thinking lethalality, in other-words they are going to do it, firearm or not. What can be said about the 20,30 something which has bounced in and out of the state pen since his 13th birthday? Does anyone honestly think that a couple of classes will deter or convince them not to go back to their old ways of making 100's of dollars a day when confronted with the reality of a 10/hr job?

    But GUNS are the problem.
