less templates, more to look into. IAWTC
Nice. I would like to see some Wikia coverage in a portal.
I agree as well. What ever happened to the list of lulz wikis btw? I can't seem to find it.
Oh here it is. If anyone has any questions about why I banned h64 you can find the answer here:
why did H64 even do that? @_@
Because it's shit. I would've done the same thing.
And locked it? No you wouldn't have, I have never seen you do that. That is someone trying to recreate a lost article from like 2005 or 2006 and that dickhole redirected it and locked it so that nobody could ever work on it ever again. That is bullshit. If it was that bad why not just delete it? Or here is a novel idea: IMPROVE IT. But no, instead he took the lazy way out and in the process ruined it's chances of ever becoming any better.
locking a redirect? really? that's... stupid.
h64 didn't lock the redirect.
You sure love sucking this h64 guys' dick. Any particular reason why.
h64 did delete the article, but he stored it a week later in order to make an example of it:
The article hadn't been improved since April 2011:
So two months after the articles failed to be improved, h64 deleted it:
If the List has survived, it would become dominated by fanboys adding their personal websites. I doubt that it would've been a useful list.
h64 was one of our most hardest-working sysops. He sent much time and effort on ED. I would see go as far as saying that h64 sent more time and effort on ED from any other sysop. h64 was originally desysoped because ED (and its protection) became his obsession.
Michaelsuarez = h64 sock
and everyone knows that if you become obsessed with improving something then you'll usually end up harming it in the end
I have known h64 OTI for a long time, and he is a great guy and I have nothing bad to say about him as a person. As an admin on the Wiki he is just not. You can't give him any criticism without him getting vindictive and passive aggressive about it and doing what you asked him to do twice as much.
h64 banned dozens of new users a day. The detriment of that outweighs any value his computer related skills gave to him. If he could have stuck to the maintenance work that he was doing instead of banning literally every user who tried to add anything to the Wiki then he would still be here right now. We built ED.ch on being different than ED.com in respect to bans and how we treat new users and if you aren't willing to follow through with that as representatives of the site then the only other option is to hit the road.
Even ED.com wouldn't have put up with him banning people the way that he did.
This thread needs some more love
