Apparently, they can't even keep their own systems from being hacked by a 14 year old anonfag. Good job Microsoft.

This thread has a strong anti-microsoft bias. EDF is not the fair & balanced news source it once was. Shame.

"security experts" will never be able to keep ahead of the various hackers and script kiddies and other such things.

Security experts don't use Microsoft products. Isn't that right @KoalaRimjob ?

Server running windows gets hacked > Lolz typikal windoz
Server running linux gets hacked > :crickets:

Oh the stupidity & arrogance of the average linux user, The worst thing about linux is the false sense of security it creates "no you dont need to use strong passwords" "no you dont need to have antivirus" "no you dont need a nids" "no you dont need encryption"

Layered security is more important than whatever os your running as demonstrated here, hash+salt passwords or your asking to be :Rape:

The idea being its far more difficult to breach all the above than just one layer of security. As for database hashing if they were to do something like microsoft1337 + password and then hash that with sha1 there would be no way to get the passwords back even if they had the database.

The entire team above should be fired.
