Going to watch a bunch of horror to balance it out.
the neon demon...
it's lovely n perverse. go watch it
Ghost in the Shell, Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 and Prometheus because Alien Covenant is coming out soon and I hadn't seen it yet.
Just got home from the movies.
I liked the synthetics getting more into the spotlight - generally speaking, they tend to be my favorite characters.
Although, the philosophy which comes with them sort of suffered in the hands of the screenwriter. A lot.
Seeing more of the xenomorph designs and such was neat too.
How was the Ghost in the Shell with Johansson? Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2 weren't exactly enjoyable imo, compared to the first movie. But i do love me some Aliens.
Ghost in the Shell was pretty good. They kind of screwed up the plot a little but I guess if it was exactly the same movie as the anime it would be pointless.
Thanks for the info, i might try watching it, i was bit sceptical(not exactly a big fan of Scarlett) at first, but you're probably right, it will be a different kind of animal, so i shouldn't hold the grudge.. yet. We'll discuss the Alien Covenant later.
3/10 - Arnie is a whistleblower and a hacker, and Sly is some sort of dude who gets hired by directors of prisons, for the sole purpose of pointing out security flaws, while he escapes after being willingly locked in. Nuff said.
0/10 First kindergarden cop was A++ movie, compared to this majestic turd. The scenes with kids are just depressing. I haven't watched it whole, but trust me, i've watched enough...
-50/10 Ok, i see why no one is willing to talk about this. Worst part was whenever the Ukrainian broad opened her mouth. I'm gonna need some time to recover from these "movies".. or maybe it's time for another lobotomy..
Loved it. Guy Pearce especially is excellent in his role. I'd bang The Reverend.
8/10 maybe, I need to watch it later again, although I'm not getting to it anytime soon - it's 2,5 hours long.
It got a lot of bad reviews from American critics because it's too mean and exploitative (apparently all European cinema is like that) but I really want more movies like this.
Meaner and more exploitative would be fine too, I wouldn't say this was even on the level of Martyrs with all that.
I always had a feeling hulk hogan was a creepy fuck, and now I understand why. Great docu about how freedom of the press
is under attack by the oligarchy. And is it just me or does Peter Thiel have some really fucked up, buggy eyes? The story of Hulk Hogan fucking his buddy's wife, the sex tape, the nigger and faggot slurs, and resulting lawsuit are fascinating, culminating in Gawker exploding, and Peter Thiel revealed to be a rich, evil mastermind behind it all.
This docu deals not only with the death of gawker, but with sheldon adelson's secret purchase of The Las Vegas Review-Journal. Also with President Trumpalo's loving relationship with journalists worldwide.
Well worth a watch. Netflix is da shit these days.
8/10 - Gollum is a decent actor
My dad just bought a Dolby atmos sound bar and he's really excited about it so we've been watching stuff like mad max and dredd. Good times.
I've finally watched Ghost in the Shell 2 Innocence. Good music, good visuals, good action scenes, but the dialogues are some of the worst pretentious pseudo-intellectual shit I've heard in months.
Brilliant film, misleading trailer though. It isn't a mystery. More a drama.
This is such a good movie.
Typical Verhoeven. Shitton of rape scenes, that one with teenage Jennifer Jason Leigh was particularly memorable, but not too much like in Bathory so it would make you think rape is what makes the world turn around(maybe ... maybe it did at that time, i dunno).
Oh I've seen that movie and shit it does have that lol.
Oh Rutger Hauer.
Edit: isn't that the movie with poisoning the well with plague bodies n raping her until she likes it?
I loved that one, Los señores del Acero, in spic...so spaguetti crusade
increase your rate of child mortality in the snapchat group
I am curious just now about how good of a director he will prove.
Hadn't seen this in quite a while... it was still as good as I remember ?/10
Great docu about the big guy, Andre. Filled withlots of fascinating facts like how he loved farting. And being a YUUUGE motherfucker....you can imagine how big those were. They tell a story of him shitting his pants on the plane and almost making it crash....the pilots felt like they were tear gassed. He also liked to cut loose inside an elevator with a 30 sec + fart.
Another interesting fact is he had acromegaly....which could have been treated, not cured, and he might have lived longer but he chose not to because he was afraid he wouldnt be huge anymore.
And apparently the ladies loved his ugly ass....and well he had a daughter. Whom looks kinda like a girly version of him.
Anyway a very interesting look into Andre, with alot of behind the scenes interviews with some of the most famous faces in wrestling.
@Weezus Christ just for you....he fucking HATED Macho Man Randy Savage, and went out of his way to fuck with him. Gotta love that.
hes allowed to hate macho man.
I finished rewatching the LOTR trilogy for the first time since I was 10, this time the extended editions on Blu-Ray as opposed to the theatrical DVDs I saw before.
I didn't think about it before, maybe because I last saw it on a standard-definition CRT, it having been nearly a decade, or both, but the CGI is shit. The most notable scenes of the film have the worst CG; go figure. I mean, Gollum's death literally looked like an average video game cutscene from the time it was made.
Still good films tho but seriously why did they need to make Gollum CG

BEST MOVIE EVER
At last! At last a movie that leaves me an appreciating smile...so dark a comedy I didn't realize it was one after it was over
Watch it, sry...now I' m gonna search for more things from the autor, reminds me of the Cohen bros, or Guy Ritchie, somebody to have an eye upon
