Budget. Work hard, keep up with the employees who have been their longer as much as possible. Show them your a good worker and theyll keep you longer and give you better contracts. Avoid getting into too much debt before you get paid, and make sure you are getting paid for every hour you worked.

I'm approaching that year and I'm looking for tips. I'm going for more than one programming language, should next job be on another one(currently have most of my work experience in Python, a lot in pascal (came with the last job),some in javascript, none in C,C++)? Would my future employer use some spyware if I work remote?

Every remote job I've seen the employer keeps admin access to your computer. Use a dedicated box

    Sure?

Didn't you claim to have a Masters in IT? I should be asking you for advice not the other way around.

I have... it's just that I admire the idea (I was taught that I should work for one employer my whole life and I should give it all and my best, the idea of slacking and job hoping is new to me in the last two years, I'm still rationalizing it).

It's a lot easier to slack off at a job you've held for 5 years than it is at a new one.

That may be the dumbest advice I've ever heard. Think about what you currently want in life and aim for something that suits, don't be afraid to change job to suit your priorities even if it's after a short period of time. If you're really worried about the impact on your work history then just omit it and bullshit your way around it if questioned - piece of piss.
