What compels inorganic material to form into life forms? What even propels amino acids to form into viruses and bacteria?

When a mommy cell and a daddy cell love each other very much, the daddy cell punches the mommy cell in her whore face knocking her out, then the daddy cell proceeds to fuck the brains out of the mommy cell. Then eventually the mommy cell gives birth to a baby cell. The End.

Dude, this is one of the biggest scientific challenges of our time. It's like asking how we're going to get people on Mars. Don't pretend we're not working on it.

At least that's the current theory. Basically lightning struck something that has the consistency of cum and shazam, life. So now scientists who study this do little more that jerk off into test tubes and rub it with high voltage. Personally I think they watched Frankenstein far too much.

Algae probably bunched together at some point and found that if they stayed in clusters they had a higher chance to survive.

Ok your asking a number of questions here.
    1. All life descended from a common ancestor including plants and animals.
    2. Plant type cells split off early from animal type cells and evolved methods to harvest nutrients from the soil water and most importantly the SUN. This meant they could obtain their nutrient without moving around and so they developed to not move around, much, mostly. Whereas the animal type cells developed as predators against the plat types in other words parasitic against the plants. The plants did all the work and the animals stole their work for themselves. A bit like bosses stealing workers labor so they dont have to work themselves. Eventually certain arrangements were developed like symbyosis and shit.

Eventually, a subset of plant predators went one step further and became predators of the plant predators becoming double parasites lol. Lions n shit and humans of course, and the financial industry stealing from bosses who steal from workers. lol.

The origins of the first cell was through a chemical evolutionary process known as abiogenesis. Certain long and long-lived chemicals developed and obviously the longer they could live the more copys they could make but the copy process wasnt perfect and 'mutations' occured with extra or less or varying shapes in the arrangements of the atoms, and the best most stable and long-lived survived and copied better than the rest, and so they developed to be even more complex and stable and long-lived until something like RNA was evolved that lived inside droplets which were the first cell.

PS they didnt actualy copy themselves in the chemical stage but chemicals existed because of processes like volcanism and chemistry occured to create various types and ranges and those types underwent further interactions and obviously the longer-lived and more stable each one was the more likely and more times it could react again and so on.

this is kind of like asking 'why does sulfuric acid hate me so much that it burns me everytime is stick my dick in it?' or 'why does the snow want to make my nipples hard?'
