Guys I'd love to read some gothic novels set in the nineteenth century with dark atmosphere where the main character is a crazy fuck who does strange things into the night.

To be clear something like:"The case of Charles Dexter Ward" by Lovercraft or "Strange case of Dr Jekill and Mr Hyde" by Stevenson.

    Can you suggest me anything?

Ronaldo, you slowminded, I really don't give a fuck if his novels are set in the first 3 decads of the 20th century.

I mentioned "The case of Charles Dexter Ward" 'cos it got exactly that kind of atmosphere and crazy characters I'm talking about.

Now, if you want to suggest anything instead of being utterly retarded fine, otherwise gtfo.

First, don't act with superiority if you have no idea what the fuck you are talking about.

Second, you sure get oversensitive when a post makes fun of your stupidity. I think you forgot this is a troll forum, you fool.

Ronaldo, you haven't named a single novel yet; I think you're the one who has no fucking idea.

Short stories by Edgar Allen Poe are always a good way to pass time.
And occasionally there are a few that are eerie.
I don't know of any Gothic novels though, sorry.
    :(

Not going to help you if you continue to act like a fucktard.

Do you have any idea of how Lovecraft's stories are anyway, aside of HURR HURR GOTHIC NOVEL WITH CRAZY PEOPLE.

Because gothic novels have the SAME KIND of characters appearing in these stories.

Ronaldo, I read virtually all his "major" novels.

I still don't see any book named.

So you have no idea what a gothic novel is then.

They (Lovecraft's novels) have, indeed, both the aforementioned dark atmosphere and crazy, isolated characters.

Now is there anyone who can either name novels that have these characteristics or other works with similarities with, say, Poe's novels rather than Shelley's Frankenstein or whatever?
