Nobody said it better than George Carlin
You're quoting things from Focus on the Family you salty old man.
Or do you not read where ur tldr links came from.
YOU CANT FIX IT. There will always be a certain percentage of fuckwits who fuck shit up.
As you can tell by the number of roughly a million abortions a year the percentage is very small. There comes a point in which you have to accept that is the best result you can get.
A million unwanted pregnancies or for the sake of a more extreme estimate, let's multiply the number by 10, 10 million unwanted pregnancies out of a nation of roughly 100 million sexually active women is still a tiny percent.
George Carlin is an Irish faggot and is dead.
The report was based on the CDC's report. Or are you saying the CDC is a rightwing stronghold?
You never accept the status quo when it comes to healthcare, we are always challenging and using evidence based practice to try n improve and challenge what we know.
That applies to this also. You may see the insurmountable challenges of public health as unfixable, the rest of us love a challenge and want to keep helping others in these situations, no matter how pointless it seems.
If we just accepted the status quo, we'd still be using leeches for everything and women would be dying of pupera fever.
You cited focus on the family originally. My apologies.
Abortion is not healthcare.
If you actually took a moment and looked, you would have seen that the tables were credited within that article. But, you were too busy tearing down stuff that violates your delicate beliefs.
Again, you understand very little how women's health works.
Abortion is at times necessary when a fetus becomes unviable, or when the pregnancy threatens the mother's life (think pre-eclampsia). Some of those situations would still, according to some, be considered elective.
But it is a medical procedure.
I didn't even look at the source article I will admit that.
Mostly because there was a definite spin to the entire piece and it was piss poor presentation, just by what you quoted.
Sorry I'm not sorry.
I agree with this intellectually, though not in practice. In the course of my last relationship, it became apparent to me that many women don't actually keep track of this shit; in fact it was *I* who was keeping track of the moon phases and such. Apparently, she, and many other women, live their whole lives just letting time go by, surprised every time their snatch starts to bleed. It boggles my mind.
Alot of women don't have real regular periods either, especially when they're younger.
No wonder you're so miserable. The cognitive dissonance must be crippling.
I'm pretty sure. No I'm positive there are not over a million conditions you claim that require an abortion. Show me where PP actually screens the bebe for possible birth defects or declares that the bebe is a direct harm to the mother.
That's why sexual education is so important.
But no, god forbid the kids want to fuck as soon as they hear the words and
Planned Parenthood does prenatal care Tim, they're a gyno clinic, they help women keep their bbys too.
And part of prenatal care is screening for neural tube defects n other things that would cause life threatening complications to the mother and the BBY.
So was leeching. What's your point?
This is how people can tell you've got no medical training, btw
LOL You keep telling yourself that. The overwhelming bulk of all serveries are directly connected to abortion.
This has been debunked numerous times.
Ok. Get med degree. Specialize in OB and public health. Work to change things so we don't think abortion is an option.
Just like the docs who challenged views on leeching did. They didnt just scream about an issue, the offered options and reasons how n why we should fix it.
Show me where it's been debunked.
Outdated or unethical medical treatments are abandoned.
So show how it's outdated and unethical with evidence based practice and studies supporting your view.
I don't want bbys to suffer. I love em. But I don't want draconian laws that do nothing to help anyone.
Leeching is still done in modern medicine, you unbelievable moron
Go yell at kids to stay off your lawn, it's the best you can do
That's the entire point you utter twit.
The whole argument is a social issue. Not a medical one.
If it was there would be far more doctors openly in favor of abortion. There isn't. Only nurses who think they have to defend some dumb cunt who can't remember to keep her legs closed.
I challenge you to go to any pre-med class and find out how many aspiring doctors want to perform abortions as their primary practice or plan to work at PP. There is a reason for that.
Yep. In a different way but it's super popular with plastic surgeons for new grafts n skin flap transplants. The leeches help increase blood flow to the area and assist with the site healing.
Lol oh we're switching the goal posts eh..
Nurses don't want it either. We want happy families and healthy bbys.
It is unethical, or immoral to kill something which is denied of due process and has done nothing but exist. The fetus did not do anything to cause itself to be born, those actions are the responsibility of the sexually mature people needed to create the fetus.
Draconian laws prevent people from escaping justice from wrongdoing. Show me a "kind" legal consequence for murder, rape, theft, etc., etc., etc. Your mental tap-dancing is mind-boggling.
"Muh ethics in Fetus Journalism"
I was referencing when leeching was the primary method to treat certain ailments you dimwitted housekeeper.
And only in specific cases and there are other medical procedures that can be substituted.
How would you feel if it was only Jewish bebes could be aborted?
