My hurricane adventure was fun . OK so let me start off by saying I am not 100% sane . Now that that is out of the way . My sister ,and i got bored ,and started looking for things to do . So we went in the basement ,and accidentally knocked over my uncles kayak . A terrible Idea was hatched . We took that sucker ( it was quite heavy for something made of plastic) down to the river front which took up about 4 blocks ,and decided to go kayaking . Of course after riding up on the side walk several times we decided to take the kayak home before we damaged it .so we basically walked home a mile threw mud ,and sewage water with this kayak on our heads . It was fun while it lasted.
Its a shame we were only hit with flooding ,and 50mph wind gusts . If we got the full effect that would have been so much more fun.

It didn't hit us like they said it would. We just got thunderstorms here in Boston. Kinda lame.

Yeah I was kind of disappoint as well . I was expecting more you know with all of the Tinfoil brigade talking about Their HAARP,and how it was bigger than hurricane Kat ,and all that.
And I still had to go to work.

Eye passed just 30 miles to the east. Strongest winds I got? 55mphs. The strongest part of the storm stayed well off to sea, yet it still managed to cause at least $7 billion dollars of damage in the US. Probably due to those mountain towns in NY and Vermont getting raped.

Except that Irene did cause catastrophic flooding in northern NY, Vermont, and New Hampshire, but no one really gives a fuck about those states.
