FPS right here
Games that are actually fun.
(In other words only 2% of today's games)
Puzzle, but not mundane/casual shite like Tetris or Peggle.
WRPGs, especially open-worlds.
Came here to post this
It really wouldn't be so bad if publishers weren't pussies and would actually take risks making games.
The "indie" circuit (which is barely indie but fuck that argument) isn't too bad about this, yet
Only a matter of time tho
WRPGs, shit with choices (DA, Fable, Fall Out, etc.)
RPG, visual novels, mystery games, puzzles, action games that are simple in control yet enjoyable.
FPS, RPG, FPS-RPG, flight sims, adventure and 4X.
I usually tend to fighters and side-scrollings that mix RPG, puzzle or both of them.
Big fan of beat' em ups too, though I haven't seen any recent ones in the market.
You will love Ninja Baseball Bat Man.
That game was fucking hilarious
Really digging Project Zomboid, don't know what you'd class that as though.
Old school arcade games. The bowling alley down the street from me still has a Ms. Pac-Man. I can play about 45 minutes on 1 quarter.
RPG and side scrollers
RPG's (preferably open world, fallout for instance), FPS, And some fighters.
Some FPS's (CoD when I'm drunk, Borderlands, TF2), some JRPG's (older Pokemon, Persona 4), puzzle games (Portal 1 and 2, trying to get into Catherine (lol get into Catherine)), action-adventure (Zelda games), simulation (really only dogfight games like Ace Combat and Il 2 Sturmovik), VN's, Smups (a little Touhou and Trouble Witches Neo), and a lot of retro games I used to play as a kid.
The only games I have enjoyed recently are Star Wars games really. I played Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and KOTOR: The Sith Lords a few months ago for the first time since they were new and they both still held up to todays standards really well. Also Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was a fucking awesome game, great story, gameplay and graphics, probably my favorite game to come out in the last 5 years. Too bad the second one was really repetitive and boring.
I really like FPS games, including MW1 & 2 (fuck black cocks, and fuck treyarch)
You took the words right out of my hands.
Fuck everything that is motion sensoried. Gaming just declined 250% because of that "revolutionary breakthrough".
Just because you own my childhood Nintendo doesn't give you the right to Fuck it all to Hell. Assholes!
*I guess they do, but I don't want to deal with that right now.
I'm a big fan of fighters, side-scrollers, and old school action RPGs like Chrono Trigger.
Inorite? Nintendo is shit nowadays because instead of making real consoles they rely on gimmicks.
But all companies nowadays have problems, back then I would love every game I came across. But today it's rather difficult to pick something out that's not shitty.
JRPGs because I'm a huge weeaboo.
Yeah, I think the PS2 era was the end of that
I think out of all those years I only ever picked up one shitty game on impulse (Robotech: Battlecry)
Not even the SNES years boasted that good of a track record for me (so much licensed cartoon dreck and half-baked crap shat out by designers who had no idea how to work with the system)
tetris just tetris
