@ubberfukken please tell me this is a troll graph, please....
Libertarian... Socialist? Collectivist anarchist? Liberal democrat??? On the positive X axis?
8/10, not bad dude.
No it's not a troll graph. It's a real graph I found on google images.
Most muricans get confused because they think dems and republicans are worlds apart when in reality they both fall in the blue sector.
Looks like a commie.
Though to be honest, anyone to the left of me is a commie.
I'm pretty sure that map is US-centric, so what is far left on that map is considered centre left in Europe.
I self identify as a Socialist anyway. A cool socialist, not one of those modern hipster liberal 'socialists'.
Least I can tolerates those since all major parties in the UK are those hipster liberals.
The aspie quiz came out inconclusive. I think I was purposely trying to confuse it.
I don't like where I am politically on this. I feel like I need to be more libertarian/anarcho capitalist. These tests are bullshit, and are inconclusive across the board.
It doesn't work. Some questions are just pointless politically. It needs more options to choose from. I have got anarchist and conservative in the same test.
That requires a complete lack of faith in the government to do anything right, or to strongly believe it's not the government's role to hold your hand through life. Just watch Ron Paul videos until your eyes bleed.
Anyone who looks at their own government will realize the government is incompetent. They lack of faith is very much a natural reaction.
It's funny how congress can manage a 20% approval ratings but people still call on them provide for the needy. It's like giving a crackhead money for groceries. Every week.
less than that. they're about 14% right now. dirty gerrymandering fucks
I believe in a completely free market system. No monopolies, no wall street, no centralized banking and federal reserve. Also, no foreign intervention unless it's we're provoked first. Take the incentives away from the government that allow for-profit prison and military industrial corporations. Also, fix our education so that people are educated to get into the workforce, and can actually do something that's positive for our economy.
tl:dr our government is incompetent, doesn't work for us, and unless we do something we're going to crash and burn faster than the Hindenburg.
Democracy is the most shallow form government. I can promise higher wages to people and get voted in. Watch it applied though. More poverty and unemployment. Then the people vote me in again. It's more hilarious than anything else.
It's actually as low as 10% in some polls. The only people who went out and voted in 2014 were very old republicans. Look, now our government is actually talking about stripping away our amendments in order to circumvent the immigration issues. Yeah, because that's going to stop the cartels in Mexico and people coming over here.
Well, we need more than two major parties and we need to make lobbying and private donations illegal. That's just a very small step towards reclaiming a democracy.
Your parties are the same way third way bullshit that my country is plagued with. If anyone looks at the policies of the UK and USA political parties. All are pretty much the same.
I'm trying to think out the major parties in America I would vote for. I really don't know.
Immigration is only a problem when the economy is down. When the economy is good, we love immigrants, we need the workers.
Fix the economy and you fix immigration.
the problem with education is that the government is treating it like it is the market... common core is business interest money. it was a very easy google to find that out a few months back.
finland is rakin' in the #1 spot in schooling atm and it's because they don't teach for tests
this is how our schools are run
i don't completely hate the idea of a market, but when it comes to education, it shouldn't be run like a business.
Alright, so ways to fix our economy. Cheap education, strong infrastructure, restoring civil liberties and letting people do as they please. This seems easy enough.
Easy isn't the word. American had to have a revolution to get liberty.
A guy over here in Britain suggested that we should have caps on how much a party can raise and how much media coverage they can get. Seems good because those are the only things keeping the parties alive.
I speak from experience when I say government makes it next to impossible to run a small business. Between relentless taxation (Payroll tax was something like 40%) and ridiculous amounts of regulations (I had to file reports with 4 separate government entities bi-annually to stay in compliance - each came with a fee and took hours of my time) and on top of that you have other businesses trying to rape your shit constantly, it makes more sense for me to pack up and move shop to Mexico.
Government hates the smart little guy. You should have asked for welfare. Government could tax some poor fuckers more and pay you.
Tests are bullshit. Some of the smartest and most innovative members of society don't do well on them, and they're not a good indicator of success.
