Anyone can DM. Just have a fun goof session.
Everything is stupid.
Why can't we ever do this on Sunday or later in the day Saturday
I can do next sunday. @zewo take your lithium.
Nwn1 and kotor 2 were shittier.
So... Um... You guys still in session?
i liked nwn1 despite some of its flaws (like the dragon-monk build)
KotOR2 was a work of art. Play it again with the fan patching and restoration mod. It's easily one of the greatest RPGs of all time.
I tried to replay it recently, but the fact that there are traps everywhere and it takes a random amount of time for a character - with hacked maximum skill even - to detect it felt like bullshit. Cheap deaths everywhere.
The fact that it needs a fan patch to fix major problems speaks the opposite in my book.
If you refuse to play a game based on the fact you need to spend five minutes downloading and applying a patch, that's your problem more than the game's.
I see you're skilled with twisting words.
Like I said, mate, the game has been fixed. If you still refuse to acknowledge it, it's your problem.
Back on subject, with the new job my only days off in the next month are Tuesdays and Wednesdays
after this coming tuesday i can be available both those days 4 a while (i was gonna take summer classes but fuck it i need some time off).
Reminder that nat 20 is only an auto-success on to hit rolls.
I'd suggest you use the best official campaign setting ever, but I really don't see a bunch of EDiots successfully running Planescape.
The only thing preventing EDiots from enjoying planescape is them not be able to deny the urge to wanna see the lady of blades nekkid. and the inherent adhd in us.
Planescape requires a lot of thought, creativity, and focus. It's not ideal for something light and lighthearted.
There are different schools of thought on how to use the Lady of Pain. I say the party should catch a fleeting glimpse of her once, to introduce the character concept, and never see her again. The only other time the GM should bring out the Lady would be to maze or kill characters, or possibly just act as the GM's beat stick, provided the beatings are fatal.
anyone hear of Ars Magica? cause i sure havent... seriously, anyone?
No. That's probably because Delta Green is one of the best RPG's ever made.
I don't like using pre-existing settings in DnD. I prefer creating my own. More creativity.
I can see that. To be fair, though, anything is possible in Planescape, including putting your own creation inside the Prime Material. Worldbuilding can certainly be fun but you have to nail down every detail, and just as soon as you think you got it, a dozen more pop up.
Oh, I just remembered how to fix the "I want to fuck the Lady of Pain" problem.
"You've noticed she has blades for hair, right? Well, she doesn't just have hair on her head."
Not being able to sexually harass NPCs takes all the fun outta DnD.
