but catholic's not genetic at all
you're repeating the statement, yes
Im still waiting for someone to out-white me
And dropdatwat is talking about ashkenazi's, which are an eastern european ethnic group
they're the prime jew genetic group
he's confusing the ethnicity with the cultural practice and life
well if i AM a jew then i guess i'm that unicorn one @zaiger wondered in a text with oddguy posted in the shit talking thread
well in that case if @Barrabas hated being catholic couldn't he, you know, just....stop being catholic?
yes you can
Heres droppys problem
The perceived issues he sees with the jews, are cultural traits of ashkenazis and mainly unrelated to the religion
So there is no escaping your "jewishness", its in your dna
uncertain what specific stereotypes pertain to ashkenazis
but if the cultural thing has a continuity that is not dependent on the synagogue as the center of the community ( i do not know in your case, ddt)
then yeah it is unavoidable as the package with your family and people
embrace your people
yeah exactly. that's how it's defined by everyone. i mean it's considered its own race
my people are gay
sounds like a real love-in
Thats why people like oddguy. He is jewish but is ethnically moldovan
You have no idea, really.
What is funny, is I got the idea of "sociological Catholicism" from a Jew on TV who was comparing it to "cultural Judaism"-- i. e you, who are not devout, but still culturally Jewish.
True facts, unless you are several generations removed from your last church-going-god-fearing Catholic ancestor, you are doomed to a Catholic upbringing.
Irish might as well be to Catholicism, as Ashkenazi is to Judaism--- or similarly, anyone of Latin descent (including Italians). It is not a perfect 1 to 1 comparison, but at bottom when a culture grows up completely embedded in a religion, they go together hand-in-glove.
You're a fucking retard, Ben.
This is correct. A catholic upbringing is much more ingrained into your values, family life and how you think, than a regular church on sunday american family
specific kinds of protestant churches are like that
some, more so
but most, pretty casual
Yeah I am
It becomes part of your identity.
It was one of the points of my upbringing I embraced, is the idea of works over that bullshit of "sola fide". Ultimately, it has given me a great deal of faith in actions over words, which my bias tells me is the most logical and wise thing ever.
This wouldn't be half as bad if I didn't have a fucking Jewish last name. I don't even have Jewish features (got all that from mom's side) so nobody would ever know if it weren't for my fucking last name
Also if Jews are a race does that make me mixed race
only if you grow out a payot on one side and shave the other
@dropdatwat When I heard your name was Benjamin I really wanted to know the last name, to confirm my suspicion. Srsly. My Exhibit B was the picture of your dad. The last name was just icing on the cake.
You're a massive dipshit.
The Nazi eugenic beliefs you hold on to so dearly would say fucking no. lol
One drop of Jew still makes you a Jew.
