Simple really. Post songs that make those long hours behind the wheel pass more quickly.

A lot of these aren't hardcore stuff, but are some of what I was raised around and as such enjoy... anything by Regurgitate is good for driving through the desert late at night with the T-top off and the windows down at higher than legal speed...

I prefer driving with calm songs, cause rage inducing songs can bring out the road rage in you

Most of the time I just turn off the radio, though.

For relaxed driving, nothing beats Morphine

And don't forget about Lynyrd Skynyrd *elbow out the window*

For night-time driving on the Autobahn

What kind of Datsun? If you have a 240Z, a 510 or a 1200, it IS badass.

Your car has nothing on my car (Citroen BX) in the ugliness department!

Not mine, but that's what they look like:

The one which can go low (tyre sinks inside)? Wow, I remember seeing it in the 90s. Pretty rare nowadays.

Yeah, that's it. It can do that because instead of springs it has hydraulic tubes (I dread the day when this system will fail). I bought mine from a neighbor who had become too old and ill to drive it, for only 1,500€. It was a steal, considering he impeccably maintained it and stored it in a garage.

That is good driving music indeed, not only fitting thematically, but also not too obtrusive and not aggressive.
