Jesus, nothing puts the fear of god into me like looking into this fucking thread....
Really now? This thread makes me feel really good about myself.
I am pretty sure it is the same feeling.
your av seems way mor fuckd up bro. that is some creepy hit right there
These two look NOTHING alike. At least the other "draw again" pictures had characters that look alike.
I honestly can't tell which is supposed to be the "before" and "after".
I can't believe they had the gall to put "improvement" anywhere on that page.
I love how it would have been next to impossible to tell which came first should the "Before & After" were to be erased from each of these sad 'progress' charts.
I fucking hate that meme and I fucking hate the old woman who did that. An important historical painting completely ruined. And people laugh about it, they laugh.
I laugh about it
Of course people laugh about it. It's fucking hilarious she turned jesus into a chimp.
Creationists can't explain that shit
yea well, plenty of important historical paintings (among other important historical shit) were straight-up destroyed for real by fucking christians, so quit your fucking bitching.
We can thank the mudslimes for destroying the marble-covering of the Pyramids. Imagine how amazing they must have looked. They were remitting light over hundreds of miles.
At least the pyramids are still standing, despite a lack of marble. What happened to all those centuries-old buildings in Mecca is WAY worse. ;-;
When the fuck did I deny that
The old lady destroying that fresco was funny for like 5 minutes and did not need to be meme.
my point being that crying over one racially incorrect jesus painting being ruined is not that big of a fucking deal. i mean, fuck, racially-incorrect jesus paintings are a dime a dozen.
Except that "other people are doing it" has never been a valid excuse. To bring it back to this thread, just because this guy
called his crap improvement, doesn't excuse this guy
calling his crap improvement.
I will never in my life fucking understand South Park yaoi
You are a living proof that History of Art need to be mandatory in High schools everywhere and not just in Italy, really.
These fucking losers of fangirls need to romanticize fucking everything. Be it South Park, the Neverhood or even the Don't hug me I'm scared
a class every high schooler would either fail or not give a single fucking shit about and dick around during. another free period. sounds fine for high schoolers.
It works in my country. If in yours people are fucking stupid like you it's their problem.
stupid because i don't consider a single jesus painting the most important shit in the world when christians have completely destroyed works of art from other religions. yea, okay. when jesus paintings are a dime a dozen. at least it got destroyed at a time where there are photos to preserve the original content.
you know, unlike all the art christians have destroyed over time.
you really overestimate an american high schooler. shit like that would be free class period time to them.
@Chickenwithtie cry harder bitch nigga. This painting was improved. https://forum.encyclopediadramatica.se/attachments/before_and_after_j-jpg.39872/Before: boring Jeebus pic
After: Something to laugh about --> value increased by infinite amount.
I'm from Italy too. But i'm not really sure if its mandatory in other schools. I'm in tourism, so it's obviously a must for me. And its not always about learning about the history of art, but it also adds to your cultural knowledge which is needed later when you apply for a job.
Boohoho white christian people are eeeevil
I only laugh about it because of the absurdity that the woman thought to do this and thought it was a good idea.
It is hilarious, but still a shame that it was ruined. I can't blame the old woman. IIRC from what I read about it, she was a lonnnggg time parishioner, very devout, like 80 something, and she did it out of a genuine concern and love, wanting to restore it...just...not knowing her limitations, and I suspect a little senile probably.
When you live to be that old, and you spend decades going to the same, run-down little church...well the whole context of it screams forgiveness. And yeah, I think the attention and humour it brought into the world increased it's value, even if as an unexpected benefit.
For me it's both. And then I never look back.
Mostly I'm just wondering why the hell they would let her near the thing without first providing some sort of test to see if she's really up to snuff.
