What do poor people eat outside of ramen, canned stew, and black person stuff?

I actually work as a volunteer in a place where we distribute food for the poor.
It's nothing special, they have milk, bread, couscous, fish, meat,...
I have food stamps, but they got cut in half when I moved.

Lean pockets are great, and they taste MUCH better than hot pockets.
spaghetti and 12-packs of burritos
I actually ate those today... Spaghetti was dinner, and had a microwavable burrito yesterday for lunch.
Just so you guys know, most poor people eat the same things we eat everyday. Unless you mean homeless people. Those things eat whatever they can buy with their change, in addition to stuff in the trash.
Kinda, depends how smart that person is.
Mostly they eat chips and drink cola, cause the kids don't complain, and it's fills the stomach.

Chicken flavor, the only thing cheaper than ramen itself.
Plus it's made in the USA so it has the taste of FREEDOM.

I buy stuff when it's on sale. Easy Mac when it's $1 or less, pizzas when 4/$10, 2 liters of pop when on sale for $1 or less a bottle. If you watch sale patterns between a few different grocery stores, you'll be able to compare what's a decent price and get some decent food for cheap
If you're seriously poor grow a vegetable garden in your backyard. Tastes good man, especially on sammiches with cheap meat (bologna, ham, etc)
Only the rich have backyards.
