Seriously, fuck Ayn Rand. Stupid ass bitch, someone needs to travel back in time and run that cunt over with a fuckin Chevy, fuck man. Fuck objectivism and shit, bro. Am I right? Damn sheltered kike, she just mad cause she has a fucking eternal period, you know, like the one that lasts fucking forever. Fuck Jimbo Wales and Scott Pilgrim too. Yeah. You wanna be a selfish little bitch and take shit from other niggas? Fuck you money-grabbing jewface. I rape your bullshit, bro. Fuck Ayn Rand.
Atlas Shrugged is an enjoyable story filled with men with sharp facial features, invisible force fields in Colorado, a slut, lots of adultry, no minorities, and a conspiracy by college kids to destroy the American economy. Atlas Shrugged is Nietzsche without the boring.
Ask an 8-year old about politics and you'll get an uneducated opinion, but they call it like they see it. It's a bunch of old white people yelling at each other about stuff that's wrong and how it's somebody's fault, but how they have no clue how to fix it other than blaming it on other people and making laws that go nowhere.
You would rather I engage in a conversation on why we need more political involvement in our lives? I'm not against the government as a whole, but there are some things that piss me off about it. What's your take?
My take on... the role of government? I think the government's role is to protect our rights to freedom of speech and religion, life, and the enjoyment of the former. In addition, I believe a smart and active government should be taking steps to care for the sick (healthcare), preserve our Earth (industry regulations, littering laws, subsidies for clean energy, etc), and ensure all men and women are treated as equals (at least at a public level). However, I do believe in a socially liberal government, and in that we should stop interfering with the affairs of foreign nations (especially Africa and the Middle East).
That's a fair and balanced view and I agree. There's not much else that can be said, perhaps a few minor things that would otherwise fit in to the above topics, but as long as no drastic measures need to be taken to enforce these ideas it's fine by me.
Do you agree with these changes Mr prince? Do agree that the original text was full liberal commie leaning hippie bull shit, Mr. Stanley If you would please final statements Mr President, Bonus:
Atlas Shrugged is that which was made to appeal to narcissists and sociopaths (but I repeat myself) so it's no surprise that Rice likes it. @molb* You've read Mises. Explain to @Seku his theories. Direct his ass to his books.
It's hard to think of something Mises said (apart from criticism and exposure of past socialists and his contemporaries) that Hayak didn't expand upon. http://mises.org/books/TRTS/ This is pretty helpful, too.
I don't like the ideology of Objectivism nor do I think most people who call themselves Objectivists really know what it means. I liked the book because it was an interesting story and all the awkward sex scenes. I also read it as part of a "I'll read your book if you read mine." My friend, Watson, read Noble House.
What are a snowball's chances in Hell? Bleak, amirite? But, if you insist on holding Ayn Rand high as a credible philosopher instead of the neurotic attention whore she actually was you should read this short article on your hero http://exiledonline.com/atlas-shrie...-the-serial-killer-who-stole-ayn-rands-heart/ . Or, don't, and believe whatever you want to like a good zombie.
Better article: http://www.lewrockwell.com/rothbard/rothbard23.html Also, not much point in learning about a neurotic attention whore... from a neurotic attention whore.
Good article you linked. Why do you think it is better than Mark Ames' article? Do you think that Ames was attention-whoring by publishing that particular article or is he always an attentionwhore whether he gets it right or not?
I haven't taken Ames seriously since I saw Jim Goads pimp slap him back to his parent's mansion. I was going to rant but then I decided to make some constructive criticism. Ames and his crew, rather than running off to America after the Russian crackdown, should've moved to the Ukraine, Belarus or some other neighbouring nation. In America he's a joke. His magazine's a joke. He uses strawmen like Rand in order to push bullshit principles which he got from one idiot/conman or another. Yet, I don't think he actually believes all that crap. His arguments seem forced and weak. (Nor does he recant when refuted.) Ever since I read this Exile article I have a strange feeling the entire Exile crew isn't as sincere about this bullshit as it pretends to be.
@Gay Padre Scratch what I previously wrote. I just remembered when Ames did an interview with Horton and how his readership basically revolted as soon as they found out. His magazine represents the duality of the free market. On one hand his magazine owes its existence to the free market but on the other hand he has to post mindless, contradictory bullshit because his customers will stop "donating" if he doesn't.
