So we don't have to comb through the Tom Preston thread and others to find that one helpful thing that someone linked to.

Repost anything here that you have shared as a resource or reference in another thread.

Post any interesting tutorials or book titles or scans or whatever that you find at random that you think people in this subform will find useful.

Here's what I could find that I'd bookmarked:

thank fuck. this has been needed for a while tbh.

nothing i posted on the tp thread, but has helped me quite a bit:
    http://daesiy.deviantart.com/art/Canine-v-Feline-Chest-Anatomy-Tutorial-269772803
    http://daesiy.deviantart.com/art/Canine-v-Feline-Anatomy-Tut-213945233
    http://daesiy.deviantart.com/art/Canine-v-Feline-Face-Anat-Tut-243801254

three-part tutorial detailing the difference between canines and felines. has helped me immensely.
there's honestly not that many resources, online or off, for ANY animal anatomy, so i grab onto anything i can.

I found this while going through my bookmarks. Here's an artist process.

    http://forums.megatokyo.com/index.php?showtopic=1631672

"WAIT?! Isn't this a link to MEGATOKYO?! That shit wannabe manga webcomic?"

Yes, and the forum thread's by this guy, who's a professional concept artist, so he knows what he's talking about. Very impressive work too.

Posting this again, it's in the TP thread somewhere. I forgot some of the stuff in there already such as Comedy of Threes, Props, and the every godly " Payoff Implied." for which Gary Larson was a god at. Only saying that because I found a small Far Side book in my basement and every page had me in stitches. Most of the punchlines are left to the readers imagination.

    http://termespheres.com/6-point-perspective/

Something I found, a quick guide to different types of perspective, and maybe a more comprehensive pdf if you're willing to shell out the cash.

I'll make an effort to post higher quality resources later.

On another note, I should try six-point perspective some time.

And Lafinman, since you have access to the old SA thread, could you find the link to the blog of that illustrator who was learning before working on a webcomic? It had the most amazing art.

Actually, could you maybe preserve the entire SA thread on the Wayback Machine? It would be invaluable to all who come across it.

Never mind the above if you don't have access after all. I'll go ask bunu and/or Mortal maybe.

I don't have access to it-- but it's funny you brought up that thread because I was thinking about it last night. There was some good stuff in there that I should have saved, the reason I never did is one has to go through the entire thread since it was spotty.

Also 4, 5, and 6 pointes? Now I know what I'm doing today.

Sometimes dA has actually good artists, so here's a bunch of tutorials that I like from there:
    http://foervraengd.deviantart.com/art/MANGA-to-REALISTIC-PART-ONE-215317699
^First part in a series. Quite a few valuable pockets of information spread throughout, such as different levels of abstraction, drawing characters at different ages, etc.
    http://foervraengd.deviantart.com/art/UNDERSTANDING-ANATOMY-part-I-220251993
^Sorta in the same boat as the first, but with more details regarding anatomy and proportions.
    http://foervraengd.deviantart.com/art/Expanding-the-comfort-zone-310564417
^Not really a tutorial I suppose, but I like it anyways for detailing the general experience one may face when attempting to move out of their comfort zone. I like the artist, can you tell?
    http://foervraengd.deviantart.com/art/Proportions-Guide-244424893
^Posted back in the Canadian-drainwater thread, a sweet and simple guide representing the general range for proportions of characters at various ages.
    http://www.deviantart.com/art/Lackadaisy-Expressions-193978013
^Parts of this have been posted a number of times in the TP thread, but not here, so here's the full tutorial. Deals with making your characters emote.

The next batch are actually going to be a bunch of critiques a person made, but probably still useful because they contain helpful advice and pieces of information, with redone versions of the pictures she's critiqued to fully illustrate how it could've been done well. Though the artist is a fan of mlp, and all the critiques relate to artworks from that fandom, she does actually know what she's doing, and can produce pieces such as this: [IMG](A frame test for a mostly finished painting she was doing in class). So here we go:

No, post whatever you feel like. I think someone linked to Amazon for a book at one point.
