All I know is that we won,” Heather Gartner, 41, said Friday morning after dropping off her children Zachary, 6, and Mackenzie, 3, at school and daycare.

They want to be called parents but they both can't do that if they are just going to let the daycare and school system parent their children for them. A petty issue which should have not even been noticed by the Iowa Supreme Court.

It's a health issue actually if you think about it. I can imagine legal issues if the kids ever need a blood, marrow or whatever transplant and the mom isn't able to. Since the father has zero fucking legal status as family, there will be issues. I mean this woman is essentially the kids step-mother.

I think it's adorable that you're just getting into a show that's been around for over a decade, if your current posting trend indicates anything.

2 days ago, same sex marriage was legalized in my country, with the pressure of the gay lobby and despite a HUGE opposition (medias thrown shit at people who were against it, even the government hired people to fuck up the protests, and then show us on TV as a bunch of extremely violent assholes and all)

And the first homo couple to be married was like "it's soooo wonderful! We won! Next generations will know that they don't have to hesitate to get married no matter the gender!"

I died a little bit inside.

Yup. There were "debates" and such for some months now and they made that law pass very recently. Protests were completely ignored and the whole thing was a fucking joke.

This article made me very happy. I don't think it's over yet. They want you to believe its more accepted, which it is. But it's also just polarizing the population. Good English btw. I've always wanted to learn French

French schools are considering teaching more courses in English, because almost nobody bothers to study this rich language outside of France.

Welcome to your future. America's a bit young, but Europe has had a full lap around the political track in the last half-century. They tried liberal democracy. They tried socialist states. Now they're even trying police state-feudalism. And this is happening.

Every single European nation in the middle of a debt crisis has a massive right-wing contingent rising made up of the perfect storm of pissed off young people and old men. The only thing they want is the blood of the middle-aged socialists who sold everybody up the river and the multiculturalists who loosed the floodgates of murderers, rapists and thieves into their country. Breivik was the shot heard round the world. His views align with a solid portion of Europeans today. Gay marriage isn't going to mean shit if the tide turns in France like it is in Greece and there's a Francoist malcontent brewing in Spain under CEDA. Maybe the state recognizing and documenting gay marriages won't be a good thing when the right-wing becomes the state and knows exactly which doors they want to kick down to haul off their biologically-challenged countrymen.

All I know is I think it's all hysterical. Also, I've possibly been reading too much /pol/.

Shame even it's less annoying-sounding than Italian or Spanish. Though I'm going to learn Italian just to show what a simple little language it is.

I don't mean annoying as in bad, it just sounds flamboyant to a speaker of nasally, monotone American English.
Are you a native speaker of spanish ?

very true, there is a lot of haet on fags because of that already. Especially since what people want is less unemployment and all, and suddenly the government is all like "lol gay marriage"
