We fight and die for liberty, acceptance and peace yet our governments always end up betraying us, stealing from us and sending us to die for no practical reasons. I can't reconcile with that or with those who hold faith in that which destroys everything I've come to love.
who gives a shit srsly The Member Formerly Known As Baya you are such a fucking buzzkill go to some parties and learn to not be socially awkward
Somebody has to care about things and know what we're all talking about. We can't all live from day to day.
I agree. I'm such a terrible person. And a depressing sight to behold. Still, you're pretty fucking retarded for coming to RAP for a buzz.
I don't know about that, I fall under your definition of a "buzzkill" on EDF and I'm a party person. There is a time and place to be serious, that is the internet. Having (physical) fun is for IRL.
Have you people even read the wiki? On a side note, The Member Formerly Known As Baya, welcome to anarchism. Silent, lonely, personal, true anarchism, not that bullshit that some white kiddies flock around to gain some of the love their parents neglected them.
Indeed. I just hope I can make a difference someday. Maybe even a grain of sand can make a difference in a sandstorm.
This board is a joke, none of these fuckwits can survive without seeing an image macro and a bad joke every five minutes.
I don't believe that works the way you think it does. Anyways, either you become a Marx/Einstein/Newton/Bolivar/etc. or it's Sekushi's way
Human interactions have ripple effects. That's what I believe. Sometimes those ripples turn into waves. Sometimes those waves turn into tsunamis.
We can't measure those ripple effects, we can't predict whether they turn into waves and most importantly, even if they could we can't possibly determine whether they'll become tsunamis or turds or a different sentence in Oba's next speech. Positivism, ho! TL;DR: It's a useless theory
I disagree, I try to be quite serious here, but besides The Member Formerly Known As Baya I don't see anyone who is in a general sense educated about realpolitik. Like all you people have your delusional fantasies with your ideology of your preference, but The Member Formerly Known As Baya is the only realpolitik guy (which I like). While I am aware of realpolitik, I am more moved by ideology in some cases to say I am true realpolitik.
Your ripple "theory" is quite interesting. It reminds me of about the five paths of the magi, specifically the magic of the politician archetype.
When it comes to politics, I prefer to subscribe to the "ignorance is bliss" train of thought. I don't pay attention, and because I don't pay attention, I forego the right to bitch about anything political.
