How would you determine whether or not you exist in a state of evil if the society you exist in is evil? And that society has conditioned you not to think it is anything other than good or normal?

This question has been on my mind of late.

Good and evil are relative. If you ask me, there is no good, neither evil, there only exist what is good for us and what is bad for us. Only a supreme being, with enough knowledge about the universe, like the God Emperor of Mankind, could describe what is good and what is bad in absolute terms.

I actually had to study something like this, in Philosophy of Law, and what I learned is that this is an unsolved debate.

So, basically, you determine what is good and what is evil.
