Dear Mr. Sakurai and dear Gamers in general, First off, cutscenes as rewards work well, they worked wonders in Super Smash Bros Brawl. Just because people post them online doesn't mean the reward from finding it isn't good. The argument of being able to just find them online without effort is just an illusion. Sure, you get to see the cutscene and it may contain spoilers, so it kind of wrecks the surprise, but you CANNOT get the experience of being rewarded by watching them outside the game. That feeling is incomparable, which transmits the feeling of achieving something in a game. Related to that, I want to address the gamers and let's play community. Watching a game being played on Youtube, Twitch or other platforms, or just anything that involves NOT PLAYING THE GAME, doesn't count as playing the game. It is possible to get an idea of what the game has to offer, but experience of having a controller in your hands or a keyboard and mouse, or any accessory that allows you to play the game and take your own path with your own skill, does NOT substitute the experience of playing the actual game. You should not judge a game based entirely on footage. Grab the controller, get the game and play it, experience it.

Also, not everyone plays the same way, there are no rules on how to play a game besides the rules of the game itself. Hacking online may be fun for you but not for others and if we live in a world where there's respect, then go find a place to hack but the official servers. If, however, we live in a place where hacking is allowed, then anti-hacking measures should be implemented in order to balance things and allow the normal player to shine through their skillset or be wrecked by pros in a fair manner. Speaking of online, the end-user has NO OBLIGATION to get their stuff fixed or improved. If your online service is laggy, it could be because of your server's internet capacity being rubbish for a big company or the data you send is too heavy, find a way to make it lighter. Every player should be able to enjoy a game with minimal lag despite their setup. Mario Kart 8 is a good example, displaying a very stable online experience without impacting EVERY SINGLE PLAYER in that room. Kind regards Robin
